Job Description

Account Manager sought by our highly successful client, a 3PL business which provides order processing/fulfilment, warehousing and  pick and pack services to a number of  prestigious FMCG customers across various sectors, including cosmetics, fragrances, household decorative, fashion, vitamin supplements – B2B and B2C.


Duties of the Account Manager include:


  • Process orders, prepare goods and despatch documentation.

  • Constant client liaison via e-mail and telephone with occasional meetings.

  • Arrange large freight deliveries into large department stores and overseas pallet and consignment deliveries.

  • Organise transport for deliveries - sometimes at very short notice.

  • Report to the client on stock issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Stock checks and audits.

  • Raise monthly invoicing.

  • POD’s and claims for damaged and lost parcels.

  • Liaise with a variety of external clients.

  • Take responsibility and give support to several contracts, attending to all their warehousing and distribution needs.

  • Raise Purchase Orders.

  • Prepare Goods-In receipts, cycle counts and location checks.

  • Produce delivery notes and collection dockets.


    Applicants for the post of Account Manager must have good knowledge of fmcg, multi sku Warehouse operations. The role could suit someone already experienced in client services in this sector or perhaps someone in warehouse operations who wishes to move into client services within the sector.


    An excellent communicator who is 100% customer centric, you must be a team player who has a close eye for detail. You will need to be competent in Excel but you will receive training in the company’s stock management software. The ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment is essential.
