Marvellous opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a £100m turnover food manufacturing business whose sustained growth and ambitious plans for the future are driven by an excellent product offering and strong commercial relationships with most of the UK’s leading Food Service Wholesalers, including Brakes, 3663, Booker, Country Range and Fairway.
The Business Development Manager will assist in driving product sales via Food Service Wholesalers to ‘end user’ customers including prisons, hotels, hospitals, contract caterers, leisure centres, hotel chains, etc.
A strong New Product Development team ensures that the continuously evolving product range offers strong commercial opportunities for Food Service Wholesalers and End Users alike, and you will work closely with the Food Service Wholesale Sales force, initiating meetings with End User Buyers and taking part in joint Sales Presentations to win Accounts.
We seek a charismatic Business Development/Sales Professional with knowledge of, and a proven commercial track record in selling to, leading Food Service Wholesalers. And / or their end user customer base. You will have the drive and, enthusiasm and credibility to achieve results, backed up with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
