Digital/Multimedia Designer (Mid Weight)

Job Description

As Digital / Multimedia Designer, you will be creating moving/animated digital assets that fully reflect our client’s global reputation for its high end, aesthetically appealing products and its design focused brand which has a clean, minimal aesthetic.

As the company’s brand continues to evolve, there is an exciting new opportunity for a Digital / Multimedia Designer within the in-house Marketing Team. Our client is looking to further grow its global social media presence and support its new e-commerce initiatives across the business.


In your role as  Digital / Multimedia Designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of collaborating with other teams to define requirements, iterate on design solutions, and contribute expertise for various digital products.


One of the key aspects of your role will be creating moving/animated digital assets for social media, as well as moving graphics to be used in email campaigns and for the company’s third-party eCommerce channels, as well as on-going maintenance of its image libraries.


The Digital / Multimedia Designer will sit within the Graphics team, working alongside its Senior Graphic Designers and wider Marketing team.


Key duties will include:

Creating dynamic moving content utilising existing assets  for social media channels.

Creating moving content for use in e-mail campaigns.

Interpreting marketing briefs and executions creative solutions to tight deadlines.

Ownership and organisation of image libraries for e-commerce and Salsify use.

Creation of digital assets for partner platforms.


Experience in the creation of moving/animated digital assets is essential and should be evident in your portfolio.

You must also be proficient in the use of standard digital design tools including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere/After Effects, XD and ideally have knowledge of e-mail client Click Dimensions (or similar) and online PDF viewers such as iPaper.


You will be joining a highly employee centric business which values, supports and develops its staff. There is scope to work remotely but you need to live within commuting distance of Harlow as there is a hybrid working arrangement.
