The position of Electrical Production Engineer is with an international designer and manufacturer of electro mechanical machines for use in laboratories in the Healthcare and Life Science sectors.
With several years of Electrical Production Engineering experience, you should be able to demonstrate a track record of generating innovative process solutions in a manufacturing/assembly environment. You will also need to have previous experience in implementing automated solutions for handling and assembly and producing shop floor layouts to allow the efficient flow of products through the assembly processes.
You will work closely with the Design team to introduce new products into manufacture and familiarity with DFM would be advantageous. You will play a key role in ensuring consistent Quality standards are maintained by producing detailed process documentation and assembly instructions and develop and maintain electrical and electronic process control equipment, including robot automation and in line testing equipment.
Training of Production Operatives will also form part of your responsibilities.
The Electrical Production Engineer should have gained experience in best practice tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six-Sigma and have experience of project work related to cost information and timescale planning. You should be Degree or equivalent Qualified in Electrical Engineering.
