Pioneering HVAC manufacturing business has led the global market in its field for several decades. An Internal Sales Engineer is now sought to enable the company to meet the burgeoning demand for its newly expanded range of products.
The role of Internal Sales Engineer requires a strong understanding of HVAC technology in order to
provide an internal sales support and design estimating role for the UK Sales Team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing support to the external sales team, with whom you will work closely alongside.
Taking enquiries via telephone and email.
Processing enquiries within timescale.
Providing technical assistance to customers and potential clients.
Assisting in the preparation of quotations as required.
Applicants for the post of Internal Sales Engineer must be capable of understanding and learning basic HVAC design processes and must have sufficient ventilation knowledge and experience to effectively use an Air Handling Unit selection programme to deliver an Air Handling Unit design that complies with customer specifications.
You will need to be an excellent communicator with prior experience in a Customer Service oriented role – and some experience in HVAC and / or Building Services is essential is a technical support/customer service/technical sales or estimating capacity. A good level of IT literacy is required in respect of the use of Microsoft Office packages.
