As Machine Shop Supervisor you will be managing a team of Setter Operators, Production Programmers and Apprentices, and using your proven motivating, coaching and organising skills and experience in this successful manufacturing business which is investing heavily in state of the art CNC machining and laser cutting equipment/machinery.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Machine Shop Supervisor will be to ensure that production deadlines are achieved whilst maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
Leading your own team and working closely with colleagues in Quality and Production Engineering, you will quickly form an understanding of the Machine Shop’s capabilities and capacity and ensure that your team is trained and motivated to achieve optimal output from the CNC machines in which the company is investing.
Positive and motivational in your approach, the Machine Shop Supervisor will hold a relevant engineering qualification, proven Machine Shop supervisory experience and a true passion for what you do. You have high standards of ethics, conduct, performance and presentation and can instil the same in your team.
