National Sales Manager required to lead, motivate and development a field sales team of 5 UK Regional Sales Managers selling iconic UK brands to retailers and retail distributors in the luxury homewares sector. The brands are world-renowned for their unrivalled quality, luxurious designs and truly unique manufacturing methods and the products feature in some of the worlds’ most luxurious and aspirational hotels, resorts, and private residences.
As National Sales Manager you will be committed to developing a positive culture built on transparency, commitment, support, partnership and teamwork. The role will support sales across all brands to retailers. The primary purpose is to drive best practice across the Regional Sales Managers, to deliver sustainable sales growth.
You will set and evaluate KPI’s, roll out cohesive sales plans and drive sales growth across all brands, also working with the Marketing team to increase brand presence and with the Customer Services team to ensure proactive communication between all parties.
With prior experience of leading a field sales team which sells to a national network of retailers/retail distributors (ideally premium/luxury products), you are a confident relationship builder both internally and with a diverse group of customers. You have a proven background in leading and motivating a Sales team and you have exceptional organisation and communication skills. You should also be able to demonstrate your ability to identify and implement new practices to drive team performance and be genuinely committed to continuous improvement and driving change.
