Product Manager

Job Description

Product Manager sought by international company whose high end products have become synonymous  with luxury living throughout the world. Concentrating on the project specification channel in the UK and the USA, which is focused primarily on the hospitality and high-end residential sectors, you will oversee products throughout the Product Lifecycle, from conception to commercialisation and eventual exit from the range.

 

You will be the go-to expert on the products in your portfolio, as well as identifying the commercial and technical requirements and competitive landscape by project sector. You will also ensure that the portfolio meets the regional variations necessary across  international territories.

 

Key duties and responsibilities of the  Product Manager will include:

 

Portfolio Management:

 

o     Monitoring the commercial performance of the Project product portfolio.

o     Ensuring that the project portfolio offers breadth and depth of choice to specification customers while remaining fresh and relevant.

 

o     Identifying gaps in the portfolio.

 

  • Efficiently exiting products at end of life.

 

Delivering new products on time against the 3-year product roadmap.

 

Launching new products to internal teams and international partners and provide thorough training and sales tools such as samples and product literature.

 

Working closely with PR and marcomms to plan and deliver appropriate content for launch and marketing purposes.

 

Driving product innovation – specifying and delivering new products into channel which offer competitive and unique value propositions and are validated by a strong and credible business case.

 

Regularly researching the industry to maintain awareness of competitors and customers and identifing risks, opportunities and changing customer requirements.

 

Developing market insights across international territories, from quantitative and qualitive market research methods to providing sound justification for product and channel strategy.

 

Visiting customers both in the UK and internationally to develop deeper understanding of channel requirements.

 

Supporting the sales and marketing teams with technical expertise and representing the business at international exhibitions (once pandemic travel restrictions no longer apply).

 

A team player and enthusiastic self starter, you will relish working amongst creative colleagues who work hard but have fun doing so and in a thriving and ambitious, award winning business. Your Product Management experience will have been acquired in a B2B company with a specification product portfolio, ideally in the FF&E sector or similar.

 

You should have an analytical mindset and be comfortable in making data driven decisions which directly impact on business growth.
