Purchasing Data Administrator

Job Description

 

An opportunity to join the busy purchasing team of an award winnining international business as a Purchasing Data Administrator. Supporting the purchasing team, you will obtain and communicate delivery dates to / from the company’s supply chain, checking order confirmations, assisting with regular stock reports and general day-to-day administration duties.

 

Duties of the Purchasing Data Administrator will include:

 

Responsibility for obtaining and communicating delivery dates.

Checking order confirmations, updating the ERP system and reports with the relevant data, including shipping & delivery dates.

 

Assisting with regular stock reporting, lead time reporting.

Maintaining reliable and accurate administration service for the purchasing team.

 

We seek an enthusiastic, committed and positive person who will fit into a friendly and close knit team. Proficient across Microsoft Suite (especially Excel), you are a good communicator, numerate and competent in recording and presenting data accurately. You should have strong organisational skills and be able to maintain a close eye for detail and an ability to manage your time well and to cope with operating across time zones in a fast paced environment. Prior experience in a similar data handling role, ideally in a Supply Chain/Purchasing environment, would be ideal.
