Senior Graphic Designer

Job Description

A 12-14 month Senior Graphic Designer maternity cover contract in a highly successful global business whose aesthetically strong products are synonymous with luxury living.

 

As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will be producing visual design solutions that have high visual impact and deliver the the company’s brand proposition: Good design demands simplicity. Designs are required for a wide variety of projects that form part of the overall marketing communications programme, including print and digital platforms – your experience bias should be towards digital.

 

You must be able to work effectively alongside the Head of Creative, and wider Marketing team, utilising most effectively the key strengths of each team member. You will also manage the day-to-day workload of the 3D Visualiser and Artworker. You must ensure that both within their work output and in their professional conduct that they fully reflect the business’s Core Values.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Creating digital GIFs and basic animations for use on Social Media platforms and within e-mail campaigns.
  • Creating digital assets for use on third party e-commerce platforms, including Amazon.
  • Creating briefs for rendered lifestyle imagery.
  • Campaign creative.
  • Coordinating and prioritising the flow of box artwork through the Product Data Management System.
  • Coordinating the flow of product renders used for box artwork and other marketing materials.
  • Adapting designs for use on digital platforms.
  • Production of templates for use on digital platforms.
  • Creation of presentations for internal and external use.
  • Production of internal documents and coordinating of printing of these externally as required.
  • Using innovation to define a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
  • Overseeing activities of 3D Visualiser and Artworker.
  • Production of the catalogues and other printed material as required.

 

 

 

With several years’ in house or agency based Graphic Design experience behind you in a corporate environment, ideally in a B2B company, your knowledge of digital design and trends must be up to date and you should have Intermediate/Advanced skill levels in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere (or equivalent video  editing software). A working knowledge of Mailchimp or similar would be useful.

 

You should have some experience of overeseeing/supervising the work of others.
