Warranty Manager

Job Description

Warranty Manager sought by leading manufacturer of off highway vehicles sold via an international network of dealers and distributors.

 

This key role of Warranty Manager will appeal to a data driven, analytical person who is experienced in Warranty Management in an engineering and/or manufacturing business and who is passionate about customer care whilst also having the strength of character to refuse wrongful claims should they arise. Duties include:

 

  • Provide quantitative and analytical reports of warranty costs and trends to facilitate accurate identification of cause of failure/problem so that corrective action can be promptly implemented.

  • Evaluate, implement and maintain the warranty policy.

  • Obtain reimbursement of warranty costs from suppliers.

  • Ensure that all relevant staff are familiar with and comply with written procedures in respect of Warranty.

  • Assess and approve nature of remedial action and Warranty reimbursement.

  • Ensure that all relevant information related to Warranty is made available to facilitate 3rd party recovery.

  • Lead and motivate 2 staff. 

  •  

    Applicants for the post of Warranty Manager should be Degree (or equivalent) Qualified in an Engineering discipline and should have gained relevant experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Most importantly, it is essential that you are data driven and analytical in your approach to Warranty Management

     

    Excellent communication skills also essential.
